The Thought Process

"Life consists in what a man is thinking of all day." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

A thought, or a feeling can take hold of a day. When it's a feeling, you can try to over think it, but it's not always possible to rationalize emotions.

Just Another Day

Recently, I've accepted what I already knew: my life, your life, anyone and everyone's lives will always be a work in progress. Or, as Lily Tomlin so succinctly said, "The road to success is always under construction.”
Plans of greatness are easy to dream, but it's the every day distractions, fog, and confusions that sometimes lead us to stumble.

By accepting this idea of never-ending construction, mis-steps can be written off as adventures, and life lessons and poor choices as experience.
Today is like every other day, except today my insides are battling over a feeling, a want, a desire. Sometimes there is a need to walk through the caution tape just to discover if the site is worthy of its warning.
